PBIX’s exploration at the Blicks Project has discovered a variety of previously unknown gold and polymetallic mineral systems associated with multiple phases of magmatic activity extending from Late Carboniferous to the Mid Triassic, including:
- Intrusion-Related Gold System (IRGS) at Tyringham;
- Granite-hosted tungsten-molybdenum mineral system at Tuting;
- Granite-hosted copper-molybdenum mineral system at Liberty;
- Granite-hosted arsenic-polymetallic±gold mineral system at Navin;
- Other intrusion-related mineralised systems, including the Sheep Station Creek intrusive complex with associated gold, copper and molybdenum mineralisation.
Drilling by PBIX and previous workers has returned thick intervals (up to 146m) of low-grade gold mineralisation (bulk intervals range from 0.2 – 0.5g/t Au) typical of IRGS systems.
Multiple targets are drill-ready on freehold land, and other targets require minimal work to be upgraded to drill status. A pipeline of additional mineral occurrences require assessment.
