Regional Targets
Menu
Regional Exploration continues to be a focus for PBIX with many quality targets present across the priority tenements of EL8725 – Taurus, EL8724/EL9463 – Leo/Astra as well as new tenure EL9417 – Pulsar which contains the exciting Mountain Tank Prospect. Grass-roots projects will continue to be assessed with early stage reconnaissance across the entire portfolio.
EL8725 – Taurus
Exploration targets on the highly prospective EL8725 Taurus tenement that exhibit soil geochemical anomalism across favourable geological contacts with coincident geophysical signatures include:
- North / South Mt McKellar – mineralisation at Mt McKellar is open in both directions
- Burthong – Very strong, 0.7km long soil Pb geochemical anomaly coincident with IP chargeability anomaly and outcropping Pb-Zn mineralisation.
- Custard Cluster – Very strong, 1.6km long soil Pb geochemical anomaly coincident with IP chargeability anomaly and drilled Pb-Zn mineralisation.
- Deadman’s Tank – Under cover target that shows a strong IP chargeability anomaly across a favourable geological contact and elevated Cu geochemistry where in situ soils have been sampled
- Monte Carlo North – along strike form Mt McKellar
- B1 and B2 Gravity Anomalies
- Sleeper – large, strong gravity anomaly
